There is a sample Profiler database available for use with EquiSim ROI. The sample database contains EquiSim derived data for Belmont's Spring meet of 2004.

This sample database is not installed with the EquiSim ROI program. You need to download it separately.

You must unzip the database before you can connect to it using ES ROI. The steps are as follows:

1. Download the Sample Database - ESSampleDB.zip. Download anywhere on your hard drive that you wish. The file is about 1 megabyte in size.
2. Use a utility, such as WinZip, to UNZIP the downloaded file
3. After unzipping you will have a file called "ESSampleDB.edb".
4. In EquiSim, go to the Profiler Database Menu and select "Connect to Profiler Database".
5. In the File dialog that appears, use the "look in" area to go to the folder where you unzipped the "ESSampleDB.edb" file to. Select this file and click the "Open" button. You are now connected to the sample database. Refer to the User's Guide that comes with EquiSim, or the On-Line Tutorials,  for more information about using EquiSim's database features.
